Dr Barad is a compassionate professional. Personable, takes the time to explain complex issues in a user friendly manner. I recommend his team and am confident in their ability.
I found him to be a great listener and sound thinker. I have had serious eye surgeries in the past and he was able to recommend a specialist who did amazing things for my vision.
I've seen Dr. Barad 10+ yrs, all's fine with no problems. But he never over emphasizes importance of anything - bland communications. Then as my cataracts developed he showed no concern. When one eye was totally clouded 'I' researched IOLs as Dr. Barad doesn't 'discuss' with a person. I found he doesn't do laser or offer a variety of IOLs. He's 'safe' in his ways and that's it. I changed doctors before surgery. Happy now.
Don't go see this Dr! I had cataract surgery with him and now everything is worse! I have a ton of double vision and cannot discern depth. None of these complications were discussed prior to surgery! His nursing staff is also extraordinarily rude and they put pressure on you to make a decision without answering all of your questions. Feels like a pressure sale you get from a used car dealer. This practice cares only about volume and not patient care. Please don't the mistake I made!
Dr. Barad has been amazing for my eye care. He has provided me help and information when I have had two injuries to one of my eyes. He has reassured me that the temporary loss of vision is due to migraines. He has educated me about what I can do to help keep my eyes healthy - especially because there is a family history of both glaucoma and macular degeneration.
