A complete jerk. He would not give me a straight answer to even the most basic questions and lied to my face. Bad doctor.
Incompetent jerk. Half my questions were answered with, "I don't know" the other half got a shrug. He didn't even try to pay attention to the answers I gave him. Then he perscribes a drug that CAUSES cancer, without telling me about that side effect. NEVER going back to this jerk!
Dr. Derksen is my doctor providing me with outstanding care and great on going treatment. He is a great listener and professional advisor for great health.

My recent prostate biopsy was "painless" due to the advances made in the administering of a anesthesia that was not usually administered or available some years ago. I had this exact same biopsy 15 years ago in another city and it was a horribly painful experience. Dr. Derksen is to be commended for his knowledge and continued ability to stay current with new medical technics is this field.
Dr. Derksen inherited me as a patient from one of his partners after I had already been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I needed surgery, and the partner was no longer performing surgeries. Dr. Derksen was recommended as the physician to perform my surgery (radical prostatectomy). Dr. Derksen is the reason I am alive today. I have been under his care for over 8 years now, and am very grateful and thankful to be under his care.

Guess it would all depend on explaining why he hired terrible assistance. that were no where near his intellect or knowledge ,, guess that may be overstated,, but at the very least they should have some compassion, ,,or bedside manor and not try to be so demeaning and condescending to their patients .. Hope they will at least look in the mirror someday ..before they spend all the money they stole from insurance companys' and individuals, I will pray for them they just don't get it. call me
