I have never written a review before, but Dr. Handoo, the way he handled my situation and talked me through it, I am very grateful for him. I had to spread the word about this wonderful person. I recommend anyone who needs to get stuff off their chest to go to him. Coming out of his office, I always had a smile on my face.
My doctor strongly recommended I see Dr. Handoo and said he was the top psychiatrist in Kansas City. He didn't disappoint. I was amazed to see how much time he spent with me, and I have never had another doctor do that. I can tell how much he cares. He is also very up to date with the latest research and treatments. I had seen 5 psychiatrists over the past 10 years before him, and I have only seen him for 2 months, but my depression is under far better control than it has been in 10 years.
A man who is judgemental and callous. More about his own ego than the Hippocratic oath.
Dr. Handoo is one of the most wonderful people that you'll come across. I am glad I went to him when I was struggling. He helped me through a very tough time in my life. I couldn't thank him enough for listening to me. If you're stuck in a rut, get help. Go to him.
It was my first time going to see a psychiatrist. I was uncomfortable at first, since I didn't know what to expect. But Dr. Handoo talked to me in such a calm and friendly manner that all my nerves went out the window. I couldn't believe I opened up to him about myself so easily and quickly.
I went to Dr. Handoo because I wanted to get my depression under control. I had tried at least 4 or 5 different antidepressants and was so frustrated. I wanted a solution. He told me about TMS treatments and I did my research. After talking to my family, I decided to go for it, and I haven't looked back since. My depression is far gone. I am in a much better place in my life and thankful to Dr. Handoo.

I used to live in Kansas City for a year, but have been living in New York City for the past 2 years. I saw many other psychiatrists in NYC since moving here but never found anyone as good as him. I fly from NYC to Kansas City once every 3 months to see him and it has been very much worth it.
I love that Dr. Handoo included me in the decision-making process. He made me feel valued and comfortable. I think half of my problems were treated at the very first instance I got to discuss things with him.
