Dr. Zaltz has been nothing but amazing! He has been very thorough with the treatment and care of my daughter. His expertise and wealth of knowledge in hip dysplasia has been worth every minute waiting to see him. That should explain exactly why there is a wait to get an appointment and a wait in the office, because his knowledge and expertise is highly sought out. The staff were very nice and friendly. A clean office. The only thing I wasn’t happy with, we spent 21/2 hours in the office. Too long!!
Dr. Zaltz was quick but not rushed; he took the time to listen to me and answer any questions. He discovered an issue that I had suspected for years but was constantly brushed off by other doctors, and he immediately referred me to an endocrinologist he knows. One of the best in the U.S. for hip dysplasia.
His behavior is unethical, reprehensible and unforgivable. Avoid him at all costs.
Our daughter was diagnosed with Perthes Disease last summer and to my shock I wasn't able to find a pediatric hip doctor in LA with Dr. Zaltz's experience. Dr. Zaltz's reviewed our daughter's films on several occasions and spoke at length to me on the phone. He generously suggested 3rd opinions I should seek out as well. I have seen Dr. Zaltz for a couple of years and he has done a couple of my surgeries. I am not an easy patient but he has never given up on me! He really listens to my concerns and takes me seriously. I’m 19 years old and have never felt that he brushed me off because of my age, like some of my other doctors have. 12 years ago, maybe more Dr. Zaltz was the third doctor to try and correct my sons clubbed foot. He was the last doctor we had to see. His surgery was done with ease, accuracy and a lifetime reward. My son is able to live a normal life, his foot is flat, he can walk, run and jump. He is a very busy doctor and his office schedulers weren't so bright but I can say that his work was quality and very thorough for me and my son.
A selfish doctor, he puts his wants above all else, leading to his wanton and reckless behavior.
