I was suffering from liver failure and an extreme flare of Chron's Disease. I had a horrible comorbidity during the height of the Corona Virus Pandemic. This Dr did nothing for me. She disregarded 12 years of medical records, and endocrinologists and gastroenterologists and did not help me at all. She made me come to the clinic, while immunocompromised to let me know she would be refusing to help me.
She is a wonderful doctor, straight to the point. Does not beat around the bush when she needs to inform you of what needs to be done. I would be going to this doctor still had I not moved out of the state.
I will never go back to her again. Horrible bedside manners!!!!
I love this woman. She is a true physician. She is no-nonsense and straight-forward, so the more fragile may not appreciate her strengths. However, this lady LISTENS. She truly knows her patients and does what is best for them, not what's best for her pocketbook. After 18 years on opiates for chronic pain, she was the only physician who supported my desire to wean off the meds as opposed to prescribing methadone or suboxone. Dr. Hong's expertise is thorough, and concise. She takes time to answer my prepared questions with knowledgeable expertise by tailoring it based off science and my personal health. Additionally, she was been an invaluable source as an LGBTQIA+ individual by helping me stay informed with accurate information free of bias or stigma. Cheers Dr. Hong!
Have been seeing Dr Hong for many years. Short wait times, friendly staff, easy to make appointments, quality patient care. Would highly recommend Dr Hong.
this website says she accepts Aetna but she does not! after 15 years found that out today as I had room time off work an appointment. Maybe my responsibility but maybe a courtesy letter or call to let me know the last two months they changed. It’s OK I will be looking forward to another doctor. When I first started going to her about 4 years ago she was excellent although her receptionist was not. Then on last visit I couldn't believe how rude she was and basically called me a liar when I was giving my honest answer. She was very condescending and unprofessional. Plenty of family physicians out there no need to waste your time and money with this one.
Dr Hong has been my physician for over three years. She is extremely competent and thorough. She and her staff have great personalities and make even the most distressing news as positive as can be. I highly recommend her.
