The staff were all great, no complaints there, but Dr. Awan was not. Dr Awan always seemed annoyed and disinterested when I voiced my questions and concerns. The results of my surgeries with him were not satisfactory or what was promised. I have been forced to have 3 surgeries now and will probably need a 4th due to complications stemming from the original surgery. Very frustrated and saddened I am stuck with a bad elbow because of Dr. Awan

Dr. Awan has operated on me 3 times -- my right olecranon in 2012, my right triceps in 2012, and my left wrist in 2017. He did an amazing job each time, and all 3 of my surgeries were a success. After my first surgery, I requested to have him perform my second 2 surgeries (all 3 stemmed from separate accidents). He has no arrogance in him and really came off as a regular guy. When I came back to see him in 2017, he also followed up on my elbow and looked at it, too.

Dr. Awan replaced the knuckles on my right hand. I’m now pain fee for the irse time in many years. The surgery was masterful and I have nearly total mobility after only 5 weeks. The entire staff was fantastic

Thanks Dr Hisham Awan for working a miracle on my wrist. No more pain and I still have great movement. You have improved my quality of life. This will help make my retirement years a lot more enjoyable. You and your entire staff made all our visits great, your PA Stephanie was so kind and helpful. God bless each and everyone of you.

I am very pleased with my care from Dr. Awan. He is on time for my appt.s I saw him for a trigger thumb and he actually did the surgery same day. His staff got things together quickly, to have same day surgery. This was very beneficial for me since I live 90 minutes away. His staff and PA's are fabulous, very informative and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Awan and staff.

My 19 year old son saw this doctor as follow up after crushing his finger with 110lbs. My son left his office with a crusty bloody finger after being wrapped for days...he did not even have a nurse clean it!!!!!!! I’m livid. UNACCEPTABLE!

If I had an opportunity to do this again I would be very cautious about having Dr. Awan perform surgery on my hand. As a result I have no range of motion,he made promises that my pain would be gone & when I told him I was still having pain his response was flippant that suddenly arthritis has kicked in.Post surgery he said did not recommend hand therapy but I worked with a hand therapist anyway, but was not able to extend my insurance benefits because he would not authorize it.

I'm very happy that I went to Dr. Awan for an opinion on my elbow issue, and even happier that I selected him as my surgeon. He answered all of my questions, and I never felt like my inquiries were an inconvenience or an annoyance. He took his time explaining his findings, my options, and the recommended procedure. The results of my surgery have been brilliant -- as good, or better, than I could have possibly imagined. I recommend Dr. Awan and the OSU Hand Center without reservation.

This man told me I would be awake for my surgery, and I specifically told him not to give me anything that will knock me, he said that was ok but then when it came time, as he stood there next to the anesthesiologist, the anesthesiologist told me that they werent going to do it unless I took the shot. I was then told that I would definitely be able to keep the metal and screws that had been in my hand for 4 years, which was so important and meant so much to me, and the first question I asked onc
