We’ve been going to Dr Lee for many years now and can’t shake the feeling that he does too many procedures (endoscopies, EGD, etc) for us. Never experienced so many procedures for GERD and related illness and wonder if these are truly necessary. On top of all this, his scheduling leaves much to be desired. My husband had a screening colonoscopy with Dr. Lee. During the pre-procedure visit, Dr. Lee took time and explained what causes colon cancer and how colonoscopy works. He answered all our questions. We have no issues to understand him. The screening colonoscopy procedure went well. Dr. Lee's team is very professional and is very nice. Their charge for the screening colonoscopy is very competitive and reasonable. It is true that they are a little hard to reach by phone. We had luck calling them in the afternoon.

I have been seeing Dr.Lee for about 20 years and I am very picky about my doctors. Dr.Lee is extremely knowledgeable and has been helping me with all of my GI challenges and making my life MUCH easier and happier. His advice to me is sometimes strict, but when I follow it, I always feel better. Thank you, Dr.Lee! My life is better and your kind and caring staff is always patient and WONDERFUL to me.
Staff incompetent
I read other reviews, both positive and negative, and feel strongly that Dr. Lee deserves FIVE stars. He is a very caring doctor and gave a detailed explanation of my test results. He is definitely an expert in the digestive disease field, and I am confident of his diagnosis and follow-up treatments. Also, Dr. Lee's English is very fluent and I don't understand why people had difficulty communicating with him.
Visited Dr Lee last week, he is very patient and knowledgeable, explains everything I want to Know.
He is a great doctor however his office is a mess. They waited almost 2 years to bill me for something that they did not bill my insurance correctly for. When asked to try rebilling and call me back they never called me back. I called multiple times and left messages to pay and never heard back. They then turned me over to a collections agency after I had called and was able to make a payment. Tried to find out why they would do so when we had a payment arrangement & they never called back.
He is really good, better than my previous doctors I must say. I might stay under his care for years. I just hope that he doesn't loss some of his patients just because of unreliable billing staff. I had same experience with other's posts here; my visit was filed as office visit and end up paying for laboratory test/exam. I am not sick, I went to see Dr. Lee for an annual comprehensive/preventative exam. My insurance company said it should be filed with correct codes for me to avail all benefits
