Wait time in lobby is very long, the Doctor spends about 5 minutes with patient constantly writing the whole time, never take any vital signs or weigh, but is quick to increase the dosage of your meds. The staffers are not friendly at all.
Was quick to diagnose bipolar disorder, with no apparent reason, many years ago. He also prescribed topamax for off label use. Came very, very, near to overdosing with his "supervision". I would NEVER recommend this man to anyone, especially anyone with good insurance. He will find something to keep you coming back.
Dr. Vandenberg is good, but his staff does not do their jobs. They will not answer faxes, and your prescriptions may not get filled for over a week. I think he needs to spend more one on one time with his patients. Not come in, say hi, talk to them for two minutes, and then send them on their way. Pshych patients need this. They also need their meds, so why do his staffers drag their feet. I have to rate them as poor!
