My first visit was only a few minutes late, he was on point with my concerns and an immediate plan was made, my procedure went very well.

It seems as if Dr Ruderman exists to funnel patients into his very busy G.I. testing system. It is very impressive and thoroughly efficient. What is not efficient is his aftercare. Follow up on the identified problems is limited; the ability to ask questions is non-existent. He spent a total of two minutes with me after the test and was walking away as I was still trying to get an answer or two. I was told to have another test that he did not do but took 1 1/2 months to schedule. In the meantime I was left with constant pain... read more

This guy needs to retire ASAP as it is obvious when you have an appointment with him he couldn't care less about you. A two minute consultation after waiting over an hour. He just rattles off some procedural basics, sends you on your way and collects your insurance $$$.

I have been a patient of Dr Ruderman's for 9 years. He has helped me immensely with an auto immune disease that effects my liver. He is extremely kind and knowledgeable. Sometimes I have had to wait in the office to see him, but it is time well spent to have competent, thorough care. I have recommended him to several people. He's simply the best.

Seen him for over 30 years. Moved away and still drive hours to see him because he is the only Dr I trust. (I tried a "renowned" local provider when I first moved which was a horrible & unethical experience). Dr L you are literally my lifesaver!!! I wouldn't want anyone else in my corner. To all who are reading this and struggling with our kinds of disease, keep your head up! It will get better and you will get through this!! Sending you strength and good vibes!!!

I would have appreciated a site like this 10 years ago! That is when I visited Dr. Levine. I tried explaining to him that back in New Jersey the GI specialist hardly had time to devote to my conditions that an immunologist had already suspected as Cronh's. Dr. Levine would hear none of that - he repeatedly pointed to the previous physician's note and send me packing. An year later, a capsule endoscopy revealed active Crohn's. Terrible disappointment!!! After a colonoscopy in popped his head in the room and said: "There is no problem. You don't need to see me again." After recovering from the surprising report, we quickly asked: "No polyps?" To which he replied: "No. There are a couple of diverticula, but you don't need to come back in 10 years". Three weeks later in October 2016 we ended up with a 4 day stay in the hospital for diverticulitis!!! Thanks Jason!!! I saw Dr. Levine for the first time 5 years ago. I was 26 at the time, with bad hemorrhoids. I was a little early for my appt, so the reception gave me the necessary paperwork to fill out and sign (standard medical information, releases, etc...). I was seen first by the nurse and then by Dr. Levine. He took the time to listen to my concerns about the hemorrhoids, he reviewed my family history and put a plan together to get me back on track.
