I always feel that my husband receives wonderful attention and care at the center. Doctor Lachein is his regular doctor. But, I would not hesitate to recommend your office to people who are looing for good care.
Dr. Shea is an excellent physician. She has the medical knowledge to support her excellent critical thinking. Along with that her empathy, compassion and honesty puts her a step ahead of 99% of the physician's I have encountered.
Dr Shea is the best doctor I’ve ever worked with.
Smart, pleasant doctor with good support staff
If you're a robot, Dr. Shea is the doctor for you. If you are an actual person with time commitments and FEELINGS, I would suggest going elsewhere. I waited for nearly an hour for Dr. Shea to visit with me, and while going over my lab work she hardly made eye contact with me. She was obviously rushing through my appointment, and diagnosed me in the most unfeeling way with a disease that will greatly impact me for the rest of my life. She then acted annoyed when I was asking questions about my d
My husband and I found Dr. Shea to be annoyed in answering questions about our 4 year old's thyroid condition! Neither of us were familiar with the condition. Instead of educating us, she became curt and rude, asking my husband, "Do you have any questions, or do you let your wife do all the talking?" Ugh. Aside from "people skills", the office lacked a child-friendly feeling - I later discovered most patients are adults. Additionally, my daughter's blood draw was a disheartening fiasco.
My son was referred to Dr. Shea by his primary care physician due to lab work indicating hypothyroid levels. I was told by the office staff we could not make an apt until Dr. Shea reviewed his lab and decided if he required an apt. A month went by and I never received a call from them so I called and I was told that YES Dr. Shea would like to see him to discuss his lab work. The earliest they could get him in was 4 wks. On the day of his apt we waited 1 hr in the waiting room and then waited
This has been one of the best, if not the best, endocinology office that I've been too. Wait times are not too long and the staff is very quick to respond to my messages.
I cant really comment on dr shea, since we never actually see her. We only end up seeing her staff. The staff is nice though. My wife also goes there, and she also never sees the actual doctor. Thats just how it works at this practice.
