Dr. Shukri is the only doctor who has been able to help me with my years of migraine! He also diagnosed my carpal tunnel syndrome when I had no idea what the trouble was. He spends a good amount of time, with both me and my husband, and addresses ALL my issues, not just the neurological. I just love him.
I missed a couple visits due to the fact that I’m having a hard time remembering things so they kicked me out . The manager on the phone was so rude and had no bedside manor or empathy . I’d suggest going somewhere else . Unless you like being talked to like a child . Can’t wait to make a complaint about this practice !
Great Doctor, He took time to explain everything, answered my questions and listened to what I had to say. He explained the results of my testing and options for treatment. Said if had any questions to give him a call. Dr. Shukri was very professional. I highly recommend him!!
He can be short-tempered, arrogant and is dismissive of patient's concerns and appears to be very forgetful. His temper flares when you ask him questions. I have since seen another neurologist and he completely missed an obvious diagnosis. I have never given anyone in a medical profession a poor review, but I would give no stars if I could.
Went for nerve conduction study x 2. The first time he was very rude and I left his practice. My n.surgeon used him exclusively so when I needed another surgery I went back & also got shots for migraines . After my 3rd neck surgery I had a teleconference with his NP Rose, she didn’t even write down in my chart about our visit according to the Dr who stated he would call in my meds but I would have to call his office back in the am, I had just been in ER’s x2 in 4 days and needed medication desperately, I did call back but th... read more
He is the most thorough and compassionate physician I have ever had.
When I presented with light headedness, he dismissed it, angrily, as a side effect of one of my meds. We further discussed hip pain, which he dismissed as out of his line of work, but continued on telling me how great a neurologist he was. He described my experience with Cleveland Clinic as STUPID, and seemed to go into a rage over my choice to work with them.
My visit months ago was ok. I tried making another appointment on their PORTAL on 7/18/19 and again on 7/25/19 and still waiting (8/2/19) for a response. I'll look elsewhere for help.
i have been to so many neurologists in my life and dr. shukri is excellent . He is extremely knowledgeable. His staff are caring and comforting. I am very thankful to all of them!
