I was having horrible sweats during the day. The sweat would literally drip from my hair to the point of embarrassment. At the same time my nose would run and my eyes tear on one side. My general practitioner and gynecologist, both who are excellent, thought it was menopausal. I swore it was not. After studying when this would happen I thought it was positional and was referred to Dr. Shukri. On my first appointment he was extremely thorough and not at all dismissive. His son was shadowing him that day and when Dr. Shukri le... read more

In 2010 I had a stroke. Confirmed by MRI and pet scan Dr Shukri stated I didn't have a stroke. I was treated by Dr. De Silva from 2011 until I moved back to Syracuse April 2023. ???.

They spend more time with you than most doctors do especially if there's something going on. Dr shukri is even texted me diets to try by his own personal phone. Rose have been remarkable in treating me after my chemo and cancer and I am forever grateful to her.

My wife and I both see Dr. Shukri. I see him primarily for Parkinson's. My wife sees him for strokes. He is an intelligent, caring doctor. Patients may not like everything he tells them but he is just trying to be honest. I see some of the negative comments about him and I can't believe they are talking about the same doctor. Last December my wife started having seizures caused by another stroke. It was after hours. I was in the hospital at the time and my wife was home. I called and got his answering service. He immediately... read more

Awful practice - literally NEVER return a call and the Dr. Does not have a good bedside manner or provide necessary medial notes. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Shukri is extremely dismissive, and unprofessional. He does not have the patience to be in this field. I would not recommend him or his practice.

Dr. Shukri is the only doctor who has been able to help me with my years of migraine! He also diagnosed my carpal tunnel syndrome when I had no idea what the trouble was. He spends a good amount of time, with both me and my husband, and addresses ALL my issues, not just the neurological. I just love him.

I missed a couple visits due to the fact that I’m having a hard time remembering things so they kicked me out . The manager on the phone was so rude and had no bedside manor or empathy . I’d suggest going somewhere else . Unless you like being talked to like a child . Can’t wait to make a complaint about this practice !
