Patty really cares about her patients and their well-being ??
I have already referred family and friends to Dr Cooper and they came away as impressed with her attentiveness as I am. They also feel that they received quick and accurate diagnoses, occasionally for some quirky issues.
Despite having a downed computer system in the day I was there, Dr. Cooper was wholly attentive and did not rush me. She had worked through the computer issues, but they put her behind, but as always, she was thorough and patient.
Dr. Bodzin repaired my inguinal hernia yesterday. I am quite pleased with results. I have always had reservations about Lake West Hospital. Well, Dr. Bobzin and the entire operating room staff changed my opinion. They did an amazing job! I read rhe negative review about one patient having an incision coming open. I know, because I tend to be a “Bad” post op patient, that things like that happen when you don’t follow the post operative instructions. If I could award Dr. Bodzin 10 stars I would. He is that good!
My Primary Care Doctor retired in the Fall of 2020. I switched to Dr. Brock who is my wife's doctor. When she came to him she was having blood pressure issues having gone several times to the ER. Dr. Brock quickly straightened out her medication and she has had no problems since. He genuinely seems dedicated to fixing what ever problem you have, and has always plenty of time to discuss your issues. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brock to anyone.
I agree with the review that Dr Cooper only wants yearly visits and basically not to be bothered should issues arise. I also had to take blood test results to another doctor. Results that Dr Cooper dismissed turned out to be more serious. They were a red flag to my other doctor/specialist. If I had been able to see her when issues arose I feel I could have gotten ahead of my medical issue. Even when she branched off with a few other doctors her office is still overwhelmed. Used to be a good doctor. Clearly doesn’t care anymore. Never followed up after X-ray, even though he said he would. I had to call his office and talk to his nurse. I requested he call me to explain my options from that point. He never did. Did bare minimum and clearly doesn’t care anymore. Obviously I’m changing doctors.
Traumatic experience because of Simee. In fact, I’m writing this some time after our experience to make sure I didn’t write a review with anger and disappointment still on my heart. Her and I had opposite culture and traditions, which means communication was that much more important. She fell short in this area while checking over our child, and during the time we searched for another doctor; because we did not trust our child in her care a second time.
