Excellent bedsude manner, knowledgeable compassionate
He is a wonderful person/surgeon. Great bed side manors. He truly cares about his patients. As far as I’m concerned, he’s the best in Salinas. I would not hesitate to have him as my surgeon.
Before my surgery, I was given no written instructions or what to expect. Whenever I called the assistant, she was rude and would only reiterate that the doctor had done this procedure hundreds of times. I had to research it for myself. The incision was supposed to be about two inches behind my ear; it’s a meandering scar that left a perpendicular rope-like line that hurts. Worst doctor and staff I've ever been to. Doesn't have up to date knowledge, he is very arrogant doctor and doesn't listen to his patients, ignored the entire family which makes it a fraustrating situation for patients, He also is creepy. Not a good surgeon.

Love this doctor!!! He is compassionate yet very professional. I shattered my L2 into my spinal colum and needed emergency surgery . i had no insurance. The emergency dr in hollister ca called surgeons from san fransisco to king city to find a surgeon will to operate on a uninsured patient. Thats me. Dr. Halamandaris is a great neurosrgeon. He operated on my back and repaired the carpal tunnel in both hands all in one sitting. I was really skeptical on getting the surgery done, but he explained the pros and cons,and convinced me that the surgery was the righting to do. His approach, at first, made me feel like it was just another surgery and all I saw Was $$ in his eyes..so not true. I am feeling so much better....Dr. Halamandaris Is also quite a funny guy. Dr. H is not just going to cut/ give surgery because it's profitable. I am coming up on my second back surgery with him and before consulting I was unsure his expert knowledge reassurance of future relief I am ready. There is no better Dr. I For dis c removal than Dr H.
