Dr Mendez is very knowledgeable. I like his bedside manner. He explained my procedure every step of the way. I have been pain free every since the operation. I am eternally grateful to God and Dr Mendez. To be pain fee is awesome.
I want to recognize Dr. Greg Mendez, Orthopedic Surgeon at Mercy Medical Center for his healing hands when I received my new hip. He advised me to undergo several options for osteoarithritic pain in my right hip (bone-on-bone). I complied to his suggestions of physical therapy to strengthen my muscles and understand the road to recovery from surgery. It was that pre-hab PT sessions that convinced me to undergo surgery. Dr. Mendez and his team guided me through two successful knee replacements (first the right and 4 months later the left). I write this six months after the second and all I can say is I have my life back! My mobility is pain free and I can do all I want with my days. Dr Mendez and his staff ushered me through my second, overdue, knee replacement. Every person I encountered was wonderful! But two things really stood out: Dr Mendez is an excellent listener, and answered all of my questions directly, clearly and simply; and in the operating room, with no prompting, his PA or NP made sure I was comfortable through the prep until I was asleep.
