My shoulder problems started with a football injury. My first surgery was in 1984. It involved several days in the hospital, a lot of pain, and a long, slow, painful recovery. I had years of problems after that and limited range of motion. Gradually through the years, the use of my arm became more difficult, limited, and painful because of my shoulder. In 2003, I had my second surgery. It was arthroscopic. It relieved much of the pain, and bought me more time before needing a shoulder replacement. I still had limited use of ... read more

Dr. Gasbarro is excellent. I'm a physical therapist who has had the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Gasbarro on a few different patients (post-op and conservative care). He's very communicative and I've seen great results with his patients. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for orthopedic care in the upper extremity.

I had a great experience with Dr. Gasbarro. I had a fall and needed a shoulder replacement. He got me into surgery the day after I saw him in his office. Follow-ups were frequent and thorough. Dr. Gasbarro answered any questions both at office visits and on the day of surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Gasbarro for shoulder injuries.

Rude, obnoxious, arrogant , combative. Seemed annoyed that I was there and further annoyed that I couldn’t , to his satisfaction, describe an indescribable pain. I can’t speak to his abilities as a doctor since he really didn’t do anything but give me a diagnosis. He may be fantastic in that regard but in terms of his ability to engage with his patients in a respectful manner, in my experience, it is non existent. I found him to be a jerk.

Dr. Gasbarro is amazing! When I broke and dislocated my shoulder, I was quite distraught. The healing process was slow and long, but Dr. Gasbarro assured me I was on the correct path. After replacing my shoulder, he kept up with my progress and answered any questions I had. I was quite impressed with his staff as well. I have regained full range of motion in my shoulder and the scar is minimal. Great all around experience!
