*Update Below* Dr. Gasbarro himself is a good doctor, but the front office administrative staff and their complete lack of compassion make for a very frustrating patient experience. Dr Gasbarro’s surgery on my left shoulder was flawless. My recovery and rehabilitation went exactly as he said it would with no issues. He also was very attentive and seemed to really care about my well being!
I visited this doctor regarding my shoulder, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. During the initial appointment, my shoulder was not thoroughly examined, and imaging was not recommended until I repeatedly insisted on getting an MRI. Despite my concerns, I was initially told that everything was intact. Dr. Gregory Gasbarro is the greatest shoulder doctor. Last April 2025 I got a reverse shoulder replacement surgery. It WAS NOT by Dr. Gasbarro. It failed in less than 3 months. Needless to say I was devastated. I had almost 3 months of PT already and now had to stop. Dr. Gasbarro was referred to me for my shoulder issues and I could not recommend him more highly! I had reverse total shoulder replacement of my right (dominant arm) shoulder 3 1/2 months ago and am already back to 95% mobility with more strength than before; with continued PT, I expect to be even better!
