The Nightmare My former Rheumatologist retired and she referred me here. Dr. Samakur was a hour late for an early morning appointment. She prescribed blood tests every 6 months which is a big flag. I have been on a powerful immunosuppressant for over 15 years and my last two Rheumatologists made sure to test every 3 months, as is industry practice for this type of medicine. If your blood work becomes "out-of-wack", you need to know quickly. Of course, they did the initial blood test that day. A month later I realized I had r... read more

Dr. Parris is fabulous, but his PA is not. Do not go to her. Dr. Parris was the dr I first saw, and I love him, but he moved to another one of his locations in Roswell, and I was stuck with his PA. I have an awful time getting meds on time, and the service goes down considerably if you complain. I cannot move to the other doctor due to a policy that I must leave for 3 yrs and then return to the new doctor. I was given this PA and did not ask for her. Be careful.

This office purchased the practice of Dr Smitherman of Roswell. We were assured the transition would be smooth and our records would be transferred. I have not been able to get a call back for a medication refill. I left two messages with the answering service and on their internal voice mail. I’m at a loss. How can we keep our immune disease in check when there is no one to help you. This could be very dangerous for patients. This happened the week of Dec 20 and Dec 13. I am amazed at the disorganization and lack of respect... read more

Very kind. Explains my condition very well. Very good at diagnoses. Some of staff do not follow through on prescription refills and communicating lab results.

I would never return to Parris Rheumatology. I had my only visit due to a swollen knee. I saw a NP. She drained the fluid off my knee and gave me a steroid injection. They did an xray and ultrasound of my knee and lab work. They never did tell me what had caused the swelling. I signed up for their portal and they would never post my labs nor respond to my portal questions. Eventually, I called their office and asked to pick up copy of my labs. When I did, I saw that I had urinary problem which they had not reported to me. Th... read more

My experience was as good as it gets! Dr Parris listened to all questions & concerns. I have NEVER had a physician spend much time with me. He was extremely thorough. His personality is the best! Looking forward to our follow up.

I've been going to this office for maybe 2 or 3 years now. My first encounter some 8 years ago was when I came with a family friend who was seeing Dr. Parris. Dr. Parris was incredible, but the office isn't like it was 8 years ago when I went with her. Even 6 years ago I went to be evaluated for SSD. I don't know who the doctor was that I saw, but I loved her and she was incredibly kind and caring. She was only supposed to be evaluating me, but throughout the hour long appointment she gave me advice on things I could do to h... read more

I've been seeing Dr Parris for over 15 years. His practice desrved close to 5 stars when I started. The only reason I say close to 5 was the typical 2 hour wait, but at least it was worth it! The practice has gone downhill over the years. Dr Parris is still great- but you hardly ever see him, it's usually the P.A.s or nurses you deal with. While the P.A.s are good- they aren't Dr Parris and the rest of the staff rates between fair to abysmal! The office loses paperwork, results, and appointments, results take forever to get ... read more

I dont understand why you have to wait 3 months to get test results for ultrasound, bone density scan, xrays and bloodwork done during a visit? Why cant I come back in 2-3 weeks to find out the results? The more I know the better I can help myself.
