I recently visited Dr. Pfeffer for an orthopedic consultation, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The doctor seemed to be in a rush and didn’t take the time to address my concerns or explain the diagnosis in detail. It felt like the appointment was rushed, and I left with more questions than answers. Additionally, the Physician Assistant (PA) and the nurse were not very helpful or friendly. My post had appeared as a three star for which I did not and would only give the above rating as a one. Why? It took over a month for me to schedule through the scheduling department and had to resubmit back to my insurance because scheduling did approve the authorization and wanted it stipulated which foot then they wanted it stated consult &《treatment》for Pfeffer, which delayed things even further. Dr. Pfeffer provided me a second opinion which was far more accurate than the original diagnosis. His course of therapy included PT with an option for eventual surgery. The diagnosis from the first physician was basically to live with my condition.
Inattentive, spends minimal time, poor diagnostician, unwilling to use imaging technology necessary for diagnosis, caused us pain, suffering and incorrect healing of the tissue that should have been predicted with MRI and addressed at the start.
