Dr. Burra is knowledgeable, courteous, professional and extremely approachable. He answers my questions and addresses my concerns with patience and skill. I have found him to be very supportive if I am having a problem (with my physical therapy, for example) and I feel that I am getting the best treatment possible from him. Both my pre- and post- operative treatment has left me feeling confident that I am in the best of care.

Had Shoulder surgery March of 2018. Surgery and recovery game out GREAT. Can't get any better than Dr. Burra at Hinsdale Ortho.
Dr. Burra is the most trusting and compassionate doctor. He truly cares about your health as if you were a family member. I would recommend him to anyone that would need a orthopedic surgery. I have had 3 different surgeries and Dr. Burra did all 3 of them. If it wasn't for him I would not have use of my left shoulder.
The worse medical experience and physician experience we have ever encountered. He is an arrogant uncaring physician. We spent at least an hour waiting and once even waited for THREE hours. He performed two surgeries on our son and his injury is still not repaired. His staff is rude and treat patients as numbers. They don’t return calls, can’t speak politely and manage their patients with extreme unprofessionalism.

I started seeing Dr. Burra after a bad fall. My husband was sure that he would say surgery, particularly after it was found on the MRI that I tore some cartilage. Instead, Dr. Burra put me on a near term approach of PT. He spoke directly to my PT team and gave specific counsel on my situation to try to avoid surgery. 5 weeks after the fall I am doing great, no surgery. His entire office is great -- he's on time, compassionate yet direct. I recommend him HIGHLY. You can trust him.
Hurt both shoulders, got me in right away. After the MRI he explained that only one shoulder was torn, explained with diagram and showed me on MRI, why one needed repair and not the other. Surgery went great, exactly as he described. 6 mos of PT and checks with him and I am fully functional, better than I was. Even when the appointment is with the PA's (Andrew and Caitlyn are also great) he always makes time to check in. STRONG recommendation. Good, honest, reliable guy. Knows his stuff.
