I wouldn't bother to recommend him. Brusque almost to the point of being rude. I was having shoulder pain. His PA showed me the x-rays, pointing out where I had issues. When Dr. Burra came in, he didn't even talk about the x-ray. He sent me for an MRI with the words, "If it's not your rotator cuff, I cannot help you." Sure enough that's what it was. I ended up seeing another doctor in the practice that took care of it,

Doctor Burra is a great Doctor and surgeon he did my Husbands and my surgeries and he was great. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Burra is very friendly, Professional, and all of his team is efficient, knowledgeable, and also friendly. His office visits are on time, he tells you all of the facts, and gives you exact instructions on how to care for yourself.
I have been a patient of Hinsdale Orthopaedics for over 25 years. After my previous surgeon retired, I was referred to Dr Burra. I appreciated his knowledge and bed side manner. I was diagnosed with some knee issues that he felt didn't need immediate surgery, but will need to be corrected in the near future. I will have complete confindence in having Dr Burra do that surgery.
Impossible to get in to see the dr in a reasonable amount of time. Three weeks is the minimum amount of time it takes to get in. Even as an established patient it remains difficult to get an appointment. Their default answer is to go to the ER. His staff is rude and inconsiderate.
