Dr. Freitas is friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. I felt heard and partnered with, not rushed. He's confident and knowledgeable without giving off the typical "know-it-all" doctor vibe.
Gil S Freitas is very polite and knows how to speak well to his patients. He assisted my surgeon during my vsg surgery, checked on me and spoke with me after I woke up and has been a pleasure to talk to. He is very kind and listens to the patients and is very well educated.
Just wanted to share my experience I recently had with Dr Gil Freitas. I went in to emergency room UMASS hospital with alot of abdominal/ intestinal pain. They did a cat scan and determined I had appendix issues and all organs were swollen. I had several doctors come see me in the ER room. One would say I will be leaving with just antibiotics and others say I would be staying to get operated on. Long story short I didn't know which direction I was heading at that point.
