I am thinking of changing practices. At her first practice, the office manager was difficult. I had to call Medtronic and they walked me through how she could accept me on the Care-Link site. She kept saying the old office manager left and she didn't know how to do it. Unbelievable. Dr. G was not much help. I switched to her because the former practice I went to became more like a fatory. I saw Dr. Guardino when I first started with her, but then only PA, including her sister, who has little bedside manner! Dr. Guardino is difficult to work with, as even if you request to see her, she will not and pushes you off on staff. During Covid she wouldn’t offer a televisit, which I refused to do. I finally had it when she changed practices twice within a year , and lost access to my records twice! She obviously is just riding out her last few years before retiring, not caring about her patients.

Dr. Guardino has been my endocrinologist for several years and likewise my husbands. Each and every time she /or her pa will devote the entire visit to every concern, labs, meds, diet , etc. She is patient, caring, professional and kind. Front office in new office has some transition hiccups, but we all can stand to be more patient . Highly recommend this office.

I loved being at this practice the 5 years i was there. I found the doctor to be so knowledgable as well as her PA, and they kept my thyroid issues stable which i was so grateful for. However, when i was 8 months pregnant and having a thyroid flare up bc of it they dropped me as a patient because of my insurance. The woman at the desk literally told me it was because "my insurance didn't pay them as much as others so they no longer accept it!!" Horrible practice. Front office staff are rude and treat you like garbage . I had a biopsy of my thyroid for a nodule on it. This office forgot to send it out for a cancer diagnosis. Waited several weeks and when I called the office to find out what was taking so long , they told me the insurance would not approve the test. I called my insurance and they said the office lied because they never received any documentation for the test. My daughter was referred by her pediatrician in December. After her initial call, they didn't call back for weeks to set up the appointment. Then a week before the appointment she waited THREE MONTHS for, they called to tell her they canceled her appt because "we don't know why you are coming." Is that a joke? If you need additional info from the ped, call the ped. She doesn't have a diagnosis, that's why she's coming to you? Incredibly unprofessional, would not recommend.

Since I have been a patient of Dr. Giardino my Diabetes has been under control and i have even lost some weigh. I would and do recommend Dr. Giardino. The staff is always very polite and helpful and always returns phone calls when I have questions.

It is unfortunate that I have to give this Dr. a one star review because I think she is actually a great Dr. The reason for my one star review is her office manager, Diane. She is bar far the rudest most difficult person I have ever had to deal with. More than once I have had to reschedule an appointment and have called well within the cancelation period only to have her give me a hard time. She interrogates you as to why you need to reschedule your appointment which is absolutely none of her business! I can't deal with this... read more
