DR. O'Connell has been providing medical assistance for me for over 10 years. I am a paraplegic and wheelchair user and his care and sensitivity to my challenges has been outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. O'Connell without reservation. He is excellent.

My first visit with Stephen O'Connell was a pre-surgical consultation prior to rotator cuff surgery. Dr. O'Connell was very patient, informative, attentive, answered questions that I had beyond my satisfaction. After my initial visit, I knew that I was in good hands for my forthcoming surgery. My surgery was smooth sailing. Dr. O'Connell and Andrew Allen, PA, were excellent with my post-surgery follow up visits and recommendations as to my recovery. I am obviously still healing after 6 months, but doing extremely well. I am ... read more

I am thankful and i was well cared for by Dr. Boghosian, Dr. Janice Mayer, the team at Eisenhower, and the physical therapy teams. This was a journey over time. I am confident with all of the decisions we made together which led to joint replacement , recovery and a fairly quick return to normal life... in a much better condition. My thanks

Following what I believe was a successful open achilles repair by Dr. Friscia, the incision opened slightly after 6 weeks and under his care it expanded and became a long term wound issue. In spite of the persistent wound, the doctor chose not to refer me to a wound clinic, even while the treatments in his office over the course of 2+ months were wholly ineffective, and possibly damaging. As weekly office visits produced worsening outcomes, the doctor's solution was to perform not one, but two, more "surgeries" under general... read more

For over fifty years I have suffered from ankle damage caused by a gunshot wound received in Viet Nam. Reaching a stage where walking had become very difficult, I decided to seek a remedy. Following a careful investigation, I consulted with Dr. Friscia. After an initial visit, followed by X-rays and a CT Scan, I decided on a total ankle replacement. Dr. Friscia is not only knowledgeable and experienced, but possesses a demeanor that inspires a patient's confidence. Six months after the replacement, I am pain free and have re... read more

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Boghosian and I just sent a friend to him and she will be having the same surgery. I had a hip replacement and it was less painful than going to a dentist. I was discharged the same day and walked without a walker or cane. I never had any pain and immediately began walking outside and standing in the kitchen. I hadn’t done that for two years. His technique does not cut through any muscles and there is no nerve damage. Also, no staples to remove. The incision is coved with steri strips that fa... read more

All of my experience with Dr. Boghosian has been extremely positive, starting with my initial consultation, through the surgical procedure, and onto the post-op check/evaluation. He answered all of my questions/concerns very lucidly and with patience. He explained the entire procedure and told me what to expect as far as possible post-op discomfort, healing time, and temporary limitations. The surgery was totally successful and I should be back to 100% of my pre-surgical activity but without the arthritic pain. Also, his off... read more

Performed a total hip replacement for me. Fabulous result: no pain, walking right away, minimal incision sites. He also has a wonderful manner with patients. Listens well, provides clear answers and in my case, answered every question before I asked it. Can't say enough good things.

February 2021, I had right total hip replacement by Dr. Boghosian. The entire process with Dr. Boghosian and his team of nurses, x-ray technicians, scheduling personnel, etc., was a first class experience. I am recovering very well and my leg is happy! My words of wisdom, don’t put it off! Dr. Boghosian used the mini-posterior approach with the assist of a robotic arm. Because the muscle fibers are not cut, the healing and recovery process is faster. At 4 weeks post-op I have no restrictions. With the mini-posterior approach... read more
