I was referred to Dr. Sutherland for a sore knee after a fall. What a kind, unassuming and delightful doctor. Diagnosed my condition promptly, treated me in the office and said I should feel better within a week or two. I did and was grateful. Highly recommend.
He appeared disinterested and didn’t seem to listen. His solution was to give my injury time, but it had already been 5 weeks and it was getting worse and worse. When I reminded him of my daily tasks and asked for a brace, he said he didn’t really do that. I followed up with asking what should I do/avoid? He replied, I’ll just give you a brace. No anti-inflammatories, no restrictions, no instructions, except for PT. Made me wonder if I was being put off until my injury got bad enough to warrant surgery.
Wasn’t in agreement of diagnosis but went with dr plans a well placed cortisone shot and I feel 100% better can’t complain great job !!!
Dr. Sutherland worked me in on very short notice due to the pain I was experiencing. He diagnosed the problem along with showing and explaining the X-rays so I could see and understand. They then set up the next step along with getting prescriptions called in. Very professional in the way everything was handled.

Dr. Sutherland was very kind. He took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Great bedside manner. Explained options and recommendations for treatment.
Very professional and personable. Up to date on most recent therapies. Excellent communication skills. Excellent surgeon. (Had to leave area temporarily after surgery, took records with me. Consulting physician very impressed.)
Dr. Sutherland was very awesome he exam me and knew right from the jump what was going on with my shoulder.. Very polite and really helped.. The injection helped just like he said it would and doing good ... I recommend him very highly ????????????!!!
