Excellent surgeon. I would recommend him 100%. He did surgery on my hand 10 years ago too. Both experiences left me with almost full use of my hand given I have a condition with no real cure. He is the best hand surgeon around.
Removed a ganglion cyst from my finger. Great results, no problems. Excellent surgeon and warm personality.
Exceptional! I was told by 2 other Drs that I'd have plates/bolts & lose use of my arm. Dr. McG was recommended, and I now see why he is considered the best in the state--I have no plates, no bolts, no pins, and (after 3 months of pins, which were then removed) a fully functional, pain-free arm! What began as a scary situation became such a positive experience because of this doctor--I cannot recommend him enough!

I had carpal tunnel syndrome for years, and suffered from the pain. Now, after 6 days of surgery I can do almost everything for myself. He is a very nice and kind doctor. I am so glad that he was my surgeon!
Dr mcgillavary performed an ulnar nerve transference on my Elbow and the results are fantastic. Everything about the surgery was first rate

Everything went great for my Carpel Tunnel surgery on my right hand. I was experiencing total numbness in this hand and now, 1 week post surgery, I have no numbness. Dr. McGillivary totally put me at ease and the surgery itself was very quick. The surgical staff at the Emory Spine and Orthopedic Center at 59 Executive Park Dr, Atlanta, GA, was great and upbeat, so that calmed me down quite a bit. Will probably be back for my left hand down the road and this is where I will come!
