I feel privileged to have had such a skilled surgeon for my shoulder surgery. He was relentless in pursuing my best possible outcome. Coupled with the persistence and talent of John Walker who was my physical therapist and who never gave up, I am well on the way to 100%.
Dr. Song is as good as I was told he would be. He explained everything. When I needed a letter from him for my employer I received when he said I would. My recovery went as he explained and after the surgery he showed you before and after pictures. He cared about me and my success.
Dr Song explains all of your options and makes recommendations based on your feed back. He explains all procedures and answers all of your questions thoroughly.
The best orthopedic surgeon in New Jersey! I suffered for over four years with a shoulder injury. I saw 7 other orthopedic “specialists” who said I was fine. Dr. Song was the only one who cared enough, recognized my issue, and immediately recommended an MRI which showed multiple issues. Shortly thereafter surgery was performed. As a result of his fine surgical care, my shoulder has not felt this good in many years. Dr. Song is truly the best physician I’ve ever had and known... a blessing
From my first appointment, thru subsequent rotator cuff repair, follow up visits, and physical therapy, I have consistently recommended Dr. Song and his staff to my friends. My surgery and physical therapy have been a complete success.
Dr. Song is gifted surgeon! He is knowledgeable, professional and has a genuine concern for his patients. Dr. Song was my surgeon for two frozen shoulder surgeries and the scarring is minimal. His team of Ashley and Amy are outstanding. The patient’s well being is always their first priority.
Received excellent rotator cuff surgical & post-surgical care with Dr. Song. Prior to surgery all that was needed to know was extensively explained by Dr. Song along with his assistants Ashley or Amy. Dr. Song has excellent credentials and my surgery went smoothly. Post-surgical care went exceedingly well. Would definitely recommend Dr. Song.
If there were negative stars I would be leaving that. Dr Song was totally dismissive during our 45 second appointments. Who does not MRI a 15 year old football player/wrestler with persistent localized knee pain that buckles!!!!! After 3 months of wasted therapy and time my son is heartbroken to miss his first football season in 11 years.
I had a posterior labral tear in my right shoulder which prevented me from bench pressing, shoulder pressing etc. and caused pain while sleeping on the side. The labrum was reattached to the scapula in arthroscopic surgery using anchors and sutures. Now, 5 months later, I'm back to benching and pressing heavy again. The outcome is successful and I can recommend Dr. Song to anyone with a similar injury. Best Eero Hirvijoki
