My appts with Dr. Batzer have been very helpful and informative. She explains everything that is going on in a detailed manner and came up with a concise plan of how to treat my situation. I would recommend her to anyone looking for answers and how to get them.

The first time I went to see Dr. Batzer, as a new patient, for a regular checkup and an oral birth control prescription, she couldn’t see past my fatness and my PCOS diagnosis, despite my normal bloodwork results. She was fixated on my size and her perception of a threat to my health. She referred me to her colleague, a dietician, with whom I also had an awful, humiliating experience. I do not recommend this doctor if you are fat, because she will not treat you like a whole person.
