This man is truly a 5-star rating! Dr. Atamdede is a wonderful doctor, very caring and compassionate which is rare for a doctor. Having surgery with him in a few weeks..very nervous but I know I will be taken care of. A kind man and answers all your questions. Highly recommend him!????
Dr. Atamdede is a very nice professional, but he is horribly overscheduled and wait times are unbearable. For example, it's almost 10am and I'm still sitting here waiting for my 9am appointment. I understand that sometimes doctors run late, but this has been my experience every time in the 15-20 appointments I've had with him. His complete lack of respect for patients' time is just awful and is sadly leaving me no choice but to find another doctor.
March 26, 2018 my mother went into surgery, she had an infection so the surgery was not performed they sent her home with antibiotics and a pain pill. After the surgery not being being performed my mother experienced 8 months of runaround. On top of the office manager being rude whenever she called inquiring about anything. She has since switched insurances as of December 1, 2018 and found out that Dr. Atamede deemed her surgery too difficult. Nobody ever informed her of this in the 8 months.
I found everyone in the office to be friendly and helpful. Dr Atamdede explained my situation and treatment very well and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the overall experience.
The Doctor is excellent. Takes time with his patients. The support staff is not. They need training in customer service training especially dealing with the speciality area of the doctor. I went to an appointment and waited more than an hour to be seen. No one in the support staff informed me of the wait or gave me an options, yet there is a notice on th door about a fee for missed appointments. What about our time it’s valuable and could mean monetary value also. I was extremely disappointed.
Went to his office for 1 reason, to obtain a BRCA test. Wait time near 2 hrs. Blood was drawn, follow up scheduled. Was told they FORGOT to order the test. Blood drawn again, follow up scheduled. This time they FORGOT to label my blood. In my opinion, the staff is robotic, devoid of personality, rude, lacks empathy, appears disorganized. The Dr. himself may very well be good but I won't be sticking around long enough to find out. Who he surrounds himself is a direct reflection on him.

Dr. A is a consummate professional with a gentle and compassionate manner. He is very patient and does not rush appointments -- allowing for questions to be answered. His positive attitude has also been a plus as he helps me to manage the ups and downs of surveillance years. I feel very blessed that he is my doctor and trust him implicitly. His staff also maintain a professional attitude and seem to work as a team for efficiency.
