Dr Radfar took the time to listen to me and help me with my stress and anxiety
I’ve been seeing Dr Radfar for about 6 months and I’m glad that I found him. His staff and my treatment are both great. His office is a flash back to the 70’s and could/should be updated including the peeling wallpaper. Fortunately the service doesn’t match the decor is subjective I guess.
I would not recommend Dr. Radfar. He seems to ramble and get off the topic. He also strung me along by making me come monthly only to say he was not able to make the diagnosis. I clearly stated that I wanted follow up treatment because original Psychiatrist was no longer available. He acted as if he could oblige then reneged after wasting months of my time.
He is rude, arrogant, condescending, self obsessed and does not listen, show emotion or care. I've seen a lot of Psychiatrist and only two were bad. He is by far the worst I've ever seen. I didn't realize it was possible to make someone feel that bad s a Psychiatrist.
He is downright rude and insulting. He doesn't listen and interrupts when you are speaking. I wish I would have read these reviews before I saw him. I'm not surprised his ratings are so poor. And good luck getting a decent therapist there! They all have other jobs and are difficult to see other than late evening and weekends. One I had spent my dime telling me all of her own issues.
Dr. Radfar never once recommended I receive bloodwork for a medication for which he was the original prescriber, which I have since learned requires periodic bloodwork. It can apparently have severe adverse side effects. There are additional reasons that my experience with Dr. Radfar was unacceptable, but which I would rather not disclose here. My advice is to avoid this doctor.
I don't normally say things like this about other people, but Dr. Radfar was one of the worst psychiatrists that I have ever had. When I saw him in St. Clair's IOP, the nurses were the only reason anything got done when he was around. He would fill out paperwork for you and then never send it in.
