I was so impressed by Emily Hedley and her knowledge and professionalism! She made me feel so comfortable and explained everything and asked me if I had questions before and after the procedure. I felt like I was in great hands. Very sweet office staff also, loved everyone’s smiles and professionalism.
I've had skin removal surgery twice after weight loss and just recently breast reduction - I am VERY pleased with all aspects of my relationship, recovery and results of surgery!
The staff at Great Lakes Plastic Surgery are very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to make my appointment and my daughters back to back saving us another trip into the office. Our wait time in the waiting room was minimal. Emily is extremely attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Smith took the time to meet with us during our appointment with Emily. All of our questions and concerns were addressed; I appreciate the efficient and caring service.
Awesome bedside manners, unfortunately my end result was not as expected. I wish I would have gotten a second opinion for my double mastectomy but when faced with Breast Cancer it is very scarey and you want it taken care of immediately. Explore your options and when they bring out the notebook with all the breast reconstructions that he has performed Please ask how many procedures your insurance company pays for to get those results. I am Grateful to be a Breast Cancer Survior.
I had a breast reduction in July 2016 with Dr Smith and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. There is a huge difference in my back pain and sciatic nerve pain, and I feel like a normal person now. My incisions are healing well. This was something I've wanted done since I was 15, but waited until I was financially able to do it in case my insurance wouldn't pay for it. Luckily it was covered due to the back pain and other problems. I've recommended both the procedure and Dr Smith to several coworkers.
GLPS, Matthew Smith and his team are what a plastic surgeon should stand for. He literally saved my life. Actions speak louder than words and his work backs it up. I would have been the perfect candidate for amputation of both arms but with his talent in this feild, I am able to type this comment. His achievements in his career are respected and sought after.
