I've been with Dr. Simonson for almost 4 years. He has supported my care wishes, offered alternatives where needed, thoroughly explains things at level of understanding, doesn't 'rush' but is efficient. I felt I was in good hands.
Dr. Simonson listens and is knowledgeable. The treatment he prescribed to me was/is exactly what I needed and had immediate results. Well worth the two hour round-trip drive from the Verde Valley.
I was so impressed with Dr simonson and all his staff. I was warmly welcomed when I got there and Dr simonson explained everything in detail on me needing surgery. He is very kind and knowledgeable. Thank you all!
I was able to get an appointment the next day after inquiring at Granite Orthopaedics.
Dr. Simpson was very understanding and sympathetic about the pain that I was having in my heel. I could hardly walk some days. He gave me an injection to help with the discomfort that I was having. He gave a pamphlet of exercises and told me if things do not get better to call him and make another appointment and we’ll discuss further treatment. I was very thankful to see him that day. I liked that he listened to everything that I had to say and he genuinely cared! I was very lucky to see him. Great bedside manner.
Had to wait an hour after scheduled time to see him. He spent 7 minutes with me. I went home and 'Dr Google' gave me all the info I needed and answered all my questions. Maybe if I were a surgery patient bringing in the big bucks it would have been different.
He examines my foot, finding that with my neuropathy and finding that I also have diabetis he decided not to operate on my foot. He recommended that I go to fikes orthopedics and get a brace made for my foot.
Dr. Simonson was caring, showed me the x-ray, explained how we will proceed and what to expect at next visit.Front desk staff and Medical Assistant knowlegable and kind, helpful.
Dr. Simonson knows his business well. He reassured me that I would be able to walk again and regained. my mobility back. He was right. I am ever so thankful for his successful surgery on my ankle, I never knew an ankle could be replaced until I needed to have one done after many years of suffering with arthritis after an accident years ago.
