My daughter was suffering from daily, debilitating migraines and her primary doctor had done everything she could for her when we asked her to recommend a neurologist. She recommended Dr. Eugene Kaplan, whose unique approach has worked wonders! She rarely has migraines now, and is almost always headache-free. Dr. Kaplan impressed us from the first visit with his thoroughness in examining and treating our daughter and his care for her enjoyment of life.
Extremely disappointed-I do not trust Dr. Kaplan. The office staff are nice, but the wait times are crazy. He just milked my insurance doing injections/ giving medication when he would not tell me an actual diagnosis and did not do imaging. He became angry when I asked for an MRI. He wanted to mask issues with pain meds instead of actually solving them. Terrible bedside manner and does not explain treatment/issues well at all. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
I went to Dr. Kaplan several years ago for the debilitating migraine headaches I suffered for over 30 years. Dr. Kaplan started me on some preventive medication and my headaches gradually started to become less frequent. After a couple of years he weened me off of the preventative medication I was on and I have been migraine free ever since. This was a true life changer for me and I would strongly recommend that anyone who suffers from migraine headaches to give Dr. Kaplan a try.....Nick Palage
Dr. Kaplan has been extremely successful in eliminating my lower back pain He spent the time necessary in evaluating the pain points and treating them I definitely recommend Dr, Kaplan.
I have ben dealing with a debilitating spinal condition for approximately 15 years. Dr. Kaplan is the most thorough and caring doctor I have ever had. Trust me I have had several. I can not understand why people could say any derogatory remarks concerning him. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring. He may not work out of a fancy office, but be sure he cares about you, probably more than you do yourself.
He was very polite, and informative. He checked me from my neck down to my legs, and believed in me when I told him about what I've been through. I received my first injection in my shoulder, right after he was done, examining me, and talking to both my husband and I, for over an hour. I found him to be the most attentive Doctor I've ever met, he listens to you when you speak, and gives you feed back on what you say. I finally found a good pain management Doctor, and I now feel confident
Dr. Kaplan sees our daughter for debilitating migraines caused by Occipital Neuralgia. Dr is only doctor who took the time to correctly diagnose her. I had the same doubts/feelings mentioned in negative reviews, then I saw Dr. Kaplan with our daughter. Dr. treated our daughter with compassion, concern and much respect. I welcome his confidence. Dr. Kaplan is an intelligent extremely busy man,he has people in debilitating pain waiting for him daily. Dr utilizes his time wisely. Thankful of this.
I was lost until I found Dr. Kaplan. I suffer from migraine headaches which are triggered from many different things. I was seeing an neurologist prior to seeing Dr. Kaplan and I also made a visit to Mt. Sinai where I found no help or relief. Dr. Kaplan helps me every time, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this practice if you want a trusted neurologist/ pain management Dr.
Stay far away from this practice. After reading multiple horrible reviews, I cancelled, with 24 hrs notice, my new patient appt. He responded by sending me a me a bill for $50. It's not as if I no showed; for which he would have no leg to stand on for billing me. What a jerk.
