After years of seeing pain management and headache doctors, I can't help but think back on my time with Kaplan. Kaplan would inject huge injections into my skull and neck with no lidocaine, no numbing spray, nothing. I would be on the verge of passing out every time he injected me. Very efficient. Thick accent but good manners. He was very helpful with my chronic migraines.
I had gone to him for over a year. At first I had always seen his NP then at the end she left to another practice. I know why!! I never knew who to expect each visit, Dr. Jeckle or Mr. Hyde! I swear the man has dementia. I have sever pain in my lower back that has been treated by my Ortho and I have been having sever episodes of neuropathic type pain in my feet and hands. Poor patient interaction, refused to consult with patient's general practitioner, lack of concern for pharmaceutical side effects, and reading texts during appointment which demonstrates disinterest in patient care. Extremely disappointed! YIKES!

It was a horrific ?? experience from start to finish. The staff and Doctor very rude no bed side manners. He couldn't answer any of my questions did a procedure that was totally unsuccessful and without justification. Left my legs, feet and mid section numb for 2 hours. I was sincerely afraid I wasn't going to walk again. DO Not go see this doctor!!!!!!
Dr Kaplan is terrible. I went to him when I moved to ballston spa from long island . I developed a terrible pain in the abdomin ana Kaplan said it was from heavy lifting. Hsaid that the nerves from the left side of my abdomin and the right side were crossing each other and that Iwas going to get injections which he started that he starte that day . well as it turned out it was stage 3 colon cancer STAY AWAY HE COULD HAVE KILLED ME AND HE IS VERY RUDE
This place is dirty, the equipment is ancient and Kaplan is rude. I will never step foot in his house of horror again. He should be out of business. Plan on waiting hours to be told you need injections the rest of your life .
I can’t stand this office. No one ever answers the phone. Wait time is usually between half hour and an hour. The nurses are nice. The front desk is a mess. They are always confused and no one ever answers phone. I requested my films and records that I provided them back, when I chose to leave. They said they did not have them. I paid $25 to get another set and 2 weeks later they called and said they found them. I find this office very disorganized.
