Dr. Schmidt did a fusion on our Mother’s neck and so far she is seeing improvements; there are some typical after surgery issues but it’s normal. Hoping this may help her lower back too; he was very kind and professional. Staff at St Joe Hospital were excellent.
I have never had a doctor care about his patients like dr Schmidt. He is one of a kind. You are in excellent care with him. He did a 6 hr surgery on me and did surgery on a couple more patients and still stop in my room at night to check on me. I knew I was in good hands.
Dr Schmidt is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor. My spine was fractured when a tornado hit my house. At the time, I thought I might never be able to walk again. That was the darkest moment of my life. Thanks to Dr Schmidt’s ,he’s the light from the sky at that moment , I was able to walk the day after a six hour surgery. It was amazing for me .
