Dr. Heegaard has been my doctor for over 10 years now and delivered my last two children. He was not on call either time but he likes to deliver his own patients as often as he can and was there for my husband and I in the middle of the night both times. He always makes us laugh and relaxes us too which is OB/GYN ever!
Dr. Heegaard was fantastic...great bedside manner, great surgeon, great follow-up, latest technology (performed devince (sp) surgery. Fairview Southdale Hospital was also wonderful (service, cleanliness).
He has such compassion, a fabulous sense of humor. Loves his work makes my day when ever I see. would recommend him again and again!!
I just had my fibroids removed via the Davinci method. Dr. Heegard is the best. He truly believes in being a partner in all aspects of my care. I was surprised when he actually called me with minor test results. I am so used to have more contact with the assistants rather than the physician. He is one of the old fashion doctors and I am looking forward to him delevering our last child.
I just moved to MN and was worried about finding a good OBGYN. After reading some reviews I chose Dr. Heegaard and am SO happy with my choice. He will be a great doctor to have when I have children. He was really helpful and made me feel completely comfortable. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Heegaard performed my hysterectomy using the DaVinci Robot. The first opinion I got said the surgery had to be done with a large incision because my uterus was so large due to fibroids. My recovery was very easy. I am very thankful I found Dr. Heegaard. Would strongly recommend him to anyone needing surgery.

Dr. Heegaard is the best. He was there for me and my husband with any questions that we had. He took all the time that we needed and didn't push us out the door. If he didn't know the answere, he would not make something up. He would do research and let you know what he found. He was very thoughtful during my very hard pregnancy.
