Literally begging on my knees for Dr. Heegaard and HMCM to care about me and my health since COVID. He’s smart but he’s not reliable. Medical trauma continues here.
Dr. Heegaard is the fourth gynecologist I’ve seen about my pelvic pain. If it’s up to me, he will absolutely be the last. Dr. Heegaard is a phenomenal doctor for women's care. He is a specialist in excision and treatment of endometriosis. Dr. Heegaard's skill and knowledge is hard to come by in the world of OBGYN's. More importantly, he listens and cares. After so many terrible experiences with inept OBGYN's and getting nowhere for a solution I was able to find Dr. Heegaard. I have lived in several cities and have gone to many doctors with the same complaints. I always left feeling more misunderstood than before. Dr. Heegaard is a gifted and compassionate endometriosis surgeon. I call him a miracle worker! His decision making and skill with the DaVinci Robot has relieved my chronic pain, even after 3 previous laparoscopies and a hysterectomy.
