Dr. O'Brien is not only a amazing surgeon, she is also very caring and attentive. Throughout my cataract surgery journey, she took the time to explain in detail what was happening and that really made me feel I was in the best care. Also the staff is amazing, they made me feel very comfortable from pre op and throughout. Thanks.

After devastating and permanent loss of sight as a result of botched surgery with another eye surgeon I visited with Dr Vaccaro. She spent no less than 45 minutes of hands-on examination and questions. I felt like I mattered and was in good hands. Easy to talk with and very professional and personable.

Dr Donnefeld was amazing. He was very kind caring and explained what was going to happen step-by-step I had my son who had his Lasik and mine done at the same time. We had two different types of procedures. Both of them went excellent. He guides you through everything to help you feel safe, calm and knowledgeable to what is going on. Within two hours I could see fantastic 2020 it was amazing. After struggling my entire life since I was five years old with thick glasses, I was a new woman.

Dr Wittpenn performed cataract and cornea cell transplant on my eye. I had other opinions before I chose him. All of them explained to me that I could wind up blind in the eye and need a total cornea transplant rather than a partial due to the near total deterioration of my cornea and the need to remove a cataract during the same surgery. The surgeons I saw for second opinions on a treatment plan, both recommended Dr Wittpenn over their own practice acknowledging him to be an excellent surgeon, a leader in his field. From my very first visit with Dr. Listhaus (THIRTY years ago!), he was direct about the degree to which he genuinely cares for his patients. Over that time period, we have encountered some hurdles in my care which he responded to heroically. This not only speaks to his being a good doctor professionally, but a great man personally. I trust him implicitly. I love that Dr. Listhaus has been a constant throughout my adult life and pray that never changes. Side note: And I love the bowties! :)

Dr. Wittpenn was rude and inconsiderate/unprofessional to an elderly patient after the patient waited over 2 hours to see him. His response to the delay was a lecture that you don’t have to go to him and that it’s your choice. You can go to his associates or a competitor and ranted that if it was his choice he would raise the visit cost but he can’t since he is regulated. He made it sound like patients should be grateful to see him regardless of how long the wait?

This physician was extremely unkind to my elderly mother. Very unprofessional. Literally laughing at her discomfort while he put needles in her eyes. Could not be bothered to explain things. Too busy talking with his staff. Would not wish this doctor on anyone.
