I have seen Dr. Elva for the first 6 months of my pregnancy. In that time she has not asked 1 question about me personally. Consistently she prescribes tests with no explanation and has never personally gone through test results with me. She always has a nurse call with results and instructions and it takes multiple attempts to reach her. Even after going to the hospital with bleeding I had to call her office twice before she would actually speak to me. This dr was amazing i was 12yrs old when we found out i was born with 2 sets of female organs i had some severe complications dr lopez had stayed on the phone with my insurance for 2hours trying to get approval for the surgery i had needed and finally got it..
I was having a hard experience with my Obgyn and I decided to look for another one and I found Dr. López which my friend recommend and she really took care of me, heard me and run all the test that she thought I need it and we found what needed to be fix with me and my pregnancy! I really appreciate the atention that she gave me!
I am post menopausal. I have had quite a few problems with menopause, and continued hot flashes. She has really tried to work with me in solving these problems. I do know I need to do a lot of research myself, as she is very busy with pregnancies. She offered me medications to do not involve hormone replacement therapy, which I preferred. I do wish they were more gynecologist dealing with senior women’s problems, however she is quite good at working with older women.
I actually love Dr Lopez. She was very open when it came to answering questions or addressing concerns. I was a late add on to their office and they took care of me as if I had been a patient since day 1. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Glad I stumbled across their number when searching for a last minute OB.
The Office staff aren't very professional, had issues with getting medication sent to Pharmacy with correct information, don't know how to call people back, ended up having to follow up with them when they stated they would follow up with me. Ended up leaving wallet for a few minutes and everything was stolen. Office staff team are just rude if you make them work I'm sorry, do their job. Transfer without a call letting me know anything. Had to follow up with them to find out why. WOULDNT Go Here
She placed a mesh implant in my cervix and I've had several medical problems from it. Don't recommend her
Overcrowded office. 90% pregnant teens. She refused to complete a pelvic at my annual exam, just did the usual pap smear, breast exam. She wanted me to have an ultrasound for the pelvic, which was another $200 charge in her office, because she said I was too tense....really? No other Dr. has ever made such a statement. Very poor bedside manner.
