Dr Steinberg has been my dermatologist for over 30 years. Having surfed and lived in the tropics for many years, she has treated my many skin issues. Her skin checks are my skin cancer insurance. Her diagnoses and treatments have always been successful and saved me from worsening conditions. She is friendly, professional and thorough. She patiently answers my questions and writes brief notes about our conversations for me to keep as reminders. Fantastic.
She listens and addresses concerns during the examination. She is extremely thorough. Very professional. And her suggested treatments have worked.
I have gone to Dr. Steinberg since about 1996 and she is an excellent dermatologist. Whenever I have had any questions she will try to answer my questions thoroughly and completely. Sometimes her staff is not helpful, but when I have expressed my concerns to her she has told me to ask to speak to her directly if I ever have any scheduling difficulties. Her staff could be better trained to ask questions and help patients more when scheduling urgent appointments.
Dr. Steinberg is always friendly, kind and takes as much time as needed to explain her treatment and your condition. She is extremely knowledgeable and is first concerned with your health.
Dr Steinberg is a very caring Dr. who takes the time to address all of your concerns. She removed a Basil Cell Carcinoma from my forehead. I was so nervous going in for that procedure as I had some bad experiences in the past. I needn't have worried as she was so gentle, I almost fell asleep! I have never done that before. The cancer is gone and so is the scar!! My only complaint is, I wish she was in the Newport Beach /Costa Mesa area. I really need to get in to see her though.
