I have had an appendectomy and a gall bladder removal done by Dr. Shemesh and both operations were done professionally and satisfactorily.
excellent surgeon, saved my life, caring individual. he’s been fantastic doctor for 12 years. I highly recommend him and his staff
Dr. Shemesh set me back 6-months because he was too busy, moved to fast, and rushed through my initial consultation (3-5 minutes tops) and rendered a incorrect diagnosis. I was originally referred to Garber, but with him retiring I was asked if I would see Dr. Shemesh. His reviews looked great, so I decided to see him. I discovered quickly that his staff is disorganized, and the he is now doing the work of 2 doctors with Dr. Garber retiring. See him at your own risk.
A wonderful, well educated, caring Doctor. I first met Dr. Shemesh when I had a huge gallbladder issue, he operated on me and I instantly felt better. I have since had 4 bouts of Diverticulitis and he has attended to me each time. He is very careful not to rush surgery and attended to me with antibiotics, IV care, and diet. He has waited until I was strong and had no swelling that would cause any additional harm to my body. He has suggested elective surgery so I will not have any more attacks. He has treated me as an intelli... read more
Dr. Shemesh removed my gall bladder, which required an incision, and couldn't be done by laparoscope because I can't tolerate surgical staples. He was a caring surgeon, and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him. In fact, he's done surgery for some of my friends and they feel the same way.
My Mom and I had gone to see Dr Shemesh after feeling we weren’t getting the right answers about my Mom’s issues.. He was such a patient listener and he took plenty of time to go over and explained things to us. He called himself with my Mom’s results and explained things thoroughly. I would recommend anyone looking for a kind, caring Dr, look no further, call Dr Shemesh office.. And to add the icing on the cake, his staff was so helpful and caring also. Shelly really went the extra mile for my Mom.. Thank you Dr Shemesh and... read more
My patient visit with this Dr was awful.. My patient has dementia and is not capable of making her own decisions but on the alternate she knows her pain he said she did not have hemorrhoids WHICH SHE DID!! He also said he thinks she's in so many words faking her pain.. Because there's no ?evident pain? so he ordered for her to be unpacked by a home health company because he thinks she's constipated..Which is by the way after I told him my patient had been having bowel movements.very disappointed
Dr Shemesh has always been able to help me with my problems. He is very caring, understanding , easy to talk to. He is an awesome Dr and I am so glad I found him a few yrs ago when I really needed a Colorectal Dr.
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Shemesh for several years. He diagnosed his ulcerative colitis condition when other doctors couldn't. And explains everything in a manner that we can understand. He is a kind and caring man and he himself actually calls with results of all tests. We would highly recommend Dr. Shemesh.
