I have spinal stenosis and have had chronic back pain for years. Dr. F. presented options, I chose the injection and I couldn't be happier. He took an appropriate amount of time with me in the initial appointment. The injection took place in a surgical-type room with X-ray facilities. I wore a hospital gown with open back, while Dr. Finkelstein and his crew were in surgical scrubs with masks. The procedure was quick with minimal discomfort. His Staff members are really kind and helpful. Had a very bad experience today, The doctor was rude, impatient and dint even have time to answer my questions about my MRI results. I was not happy about the way the Dr reacted for my questions. I should have read all these reveiewes before.
I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I went to Dr. Finkelstein for lower back and neck issuues, and he offered many treatment options. He took his time in talking with me and made sure to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Finkelstein.
He is the worst doctor I ever seen His PA was way better than him. I have seen him for MRI Followup, had to wait an hour to see him then comes in with some one he is training busy explain to her how it is done then to explain me about the MRI. he did not explain anything about the MRI report instead trying to sell steroid and referring to Surgeon for referral fees. He left without answering my questions and never come back even thought I requested the front desk that I need answers to my questio
Excellent doctor-took the time to listen to my complaints and address my concerns in a very professional and caring manner. Visit was thorough and I felt I had the opportunity to have all my questions answered. I have been for a return visit and was extremely happy with both my visits. Highly recommend Dr Finkelstein.
I also don’t often leave reviews on doctors or anyone for that matter...I must say I agree with all of the awful reviews above! I also felt like I was a bother to him. I was there for cronic pain I had been having and he didnt even examine, touch or look at the areas of my neck pain. I was very uncomfortable and will not be going to him again! Wish I had looked him up before my visit!

This is my first review ever. After reading the reviews on Dr. Finkelstein, I wish I would have read them sooner. I agree that he seemed like he didn't want to be there. He clearly did not care or bother to look at what I wrote down or even discuss the issues. I have been to other spine doctors and this is completely unacceptable. It was a waste of my money, and I'm going to see another doc. I let my primary doc, who referred him, know that I was shocked that she would refer someone like this.

I felt like he had little time and that he was annoyed.Id had an MRI and he said he found nothing in it to suggest the symptoms I was having. The way he said it that put me on the defensive. I asked what I could do for the bad back pain, and he said I should get injections to see if it would calm it down, with no explanation of why that was a good idea. When the person called to schedule it I told them Im on prodaxa and they were shocked. Said they had to get my cardiologists approval.
