I've gone to her for years and still go back to her even though I live near ucla. I've always found her friendly, polite, thorough and responsive and concerned. I have no real health problems but I am sure if I did she would use all resources to give me the best care. These complainers on here are not medical professionals themselves and think a doctors office is a candy store where you just go in and get whatever you think you need while the insurance companies will not pay for unjustified tests etc. Get educated. I've been seeing her for about 5 years now and don't know why I've stayed with her as my primary care Dr. for so long. SHE IS TERRIBLE. Yesterday I arrived on time, waited for over an hour in the exam room until finally I decided to go in the hall to make sure they knew I was there... well Dr. Jones berated me and said I was late so "tough" in a sense. I've been seeing Dr. Jones for about five years. She has always responded very well to my concerns, and ordered the appropriate tests. She has given me referrals when requested. Although she is talkative, it is done in a friendly manner, and she gives me plenty of time to talk also. I had an appointment today, and waited 30 minutes to get in, but then she took plenty of time with me, so I didn't mind. Overall, I have no complaints.

I've been going to Dr. Jones for a while now. I have to admit she is quick and it may seem like she's not listening but somehow she hears everything I say, gives me what I need and I'm always better in a few days. Never had a problem with her.

My visit to Elaine Jones was horrible!!. She berated me for 15 minutes about an rx I had been taking for less than 30 days, telling me I had an addiction, I'd need methadone to come off of it, it was just as bad as heroin (WHAT?! It’s .5 mg taken 2-3x a week before bed when I need it. I didn't buy it on the street corner). She wouldn't stop talking long enough to let me explain the situation. I have been a long time patient and have found her top notch in all aspects.She spends time listening to all my sympotoms and has taken wonderful care of me. Her staff is outstanding. I love her bedside manner, knowledge, and ability to send me where I need to go. I do not understand others' complaints. I have had none!!

Dr. Jones is the worse doctor I have ever met with. On my first visit with her I had multiple symptoms. She spent less than 5 minutes with me and didn't let me get a word in edgewise. She was condescending, uncaring, and overall rude.

I'm surprised at the other ratings. I've been going to Dr. Jones and Dr. Swift for years and I've always had a great experience (and I am PICKY about my doctors). Dr. Jones always takes all the time needed with me, asks me a lot of questions about everthing from how I am sleeping to whether I exercise, and is always very thorough. I've never had any major health issues, but for the ones I have sought medical assistance on, I've left feeling satisfied. she is the worst. Had 2 appts and the 2nd was even worse than the first. Very fast, does not let you ask questions, orders tests with no reason given (in fact when i told another University afflicated Doctor, the test she orders, he said that it was a very old test and much newer tests were used now). After my appt i was sent a postcard with the numbers from my tests and one was quite high but she had it circled normal and when i called to asked about it, i was told that she does not take calls-that i needed to make an appt.... read more
