Staff is always polite and professional. This was my second cleaning with them and my teeth look and feel great.
I am pleased with the service I receive from Dr. Bander and the staff that works by his side. I appreciate that Dr. Bander explains what he is doing as he is doing it. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and also personable. I was not pleased with the front desk service. I felt like I was being talked down to and had to request her to run my insurance - she did not do it automatically. When I first moved to GR, I was still heading back to Ohio to visit my childhood dentist. I was sure no one in the area could be as nice and talented as him. Dr. Bander's office has gone above and beyond my expectations. From the paraffin hand wax to the warm blanket and neck wrap, I am always completely comfortable and relaxed. The staff is also phenomenally nice and accommodating. They even let my 2 month old son lay on my lap through my cleaning at my most recent visit. The hygienist I had lost control of a tool while checking my fillings twice. It made me nervous during my visit.
I was disappointed when I came to paying the bill as I was informed I needed to pay the entire amount of $617 and could not be sent a bill like has been done the last 15+ years I have been going. I was going to pay the $271 I previously owed and ended up paying $300 and was able to put my credit card on file for the rest. I didn't realize my insurance would not pay any of the services otherwise I would have waited until after the first of the year.
I have had a consultation and professional cleaning so far, and it has all been a first rate experience. The technology utilized, and the process of explaining everything and the positive feel of the place make me feel like I am in good hands and managing my dental health well. The one piece of constructive feedback I'd like to give: please let me know if I am going to have a floating sub rather than a permanent part of team as my dental hygienist when scheduling the appointment.
