When I turned 18 years old, due to my mom's employer dental coverage I had to give up MY denist, Dr. Korenman. I was not pleased by that situation. I was able to return to Dr. Korenman just last July 2011 because my dentist's office, Katsur Dental on the Southside, did not have common courtsey to inform me and three other people that they were closed the day of my (our) appointment. very nice, gentle, professional. facilities aren't flashy, but he has everything you need. I highly recommend him.
After moving to Pittsburgh my wife and I were looking for a new dentist. She had previously used Dr Korenman when she lived in Pittsburgh 20 plus years ago so I thought why not. Well much to my pleasure, Dr. Korenman is a very sincere and caring dentist unlike some doctors can be. His staff is wonderful also with their caring attitude. At my six month annual check up in Florida the hygienist was very rough and took a long time to clean my teeth, but here at Dr. Korenmans office the hygienist is very gently. Dr. Korenman is very pleasant and always asks about me and what I have going on. He remembers what I tell him and asks for updates. I have only gone for regular cleanings and I have dental insurance, so I do not know how much it would cost someone who does not or who has to get further work done. I asked about pricing for teeth whitening and it is very affordable, I am planning on receiving that treatment at my next visit. He does a good job and my teeth feel great afterwards.
