After several surgeries on my back I went to see Dr Pitt. After reviewing my case he agreed to operate. My back was so messed up from the previous surgery that no other Dr would take on my case. The operation was a success and I was pain free. Months later a rod broke and he eventually redid the operation. I am now pain free and able to stand straight without a walker. first he was over 45 mins late for the apt , then though out the exam, he kept leaving the room to talk on the phone , never again
Dr. Pitt performed a somewhat emergency lumbar micro discectomy on me to relieve severe spinal stenosis in the L5-S1 region. When I got to Dr. Pitt, I wasn't even able to stand on my tiptoes for a second, let alone walk or take care of my twin 22-month old daughters. Fortunately, he operated on me 4 days after our first appointment and when I woke up, I felt immediate relief and walked out of the hospital under my own power less than 2 hours after surgery! Dr. Pitt removed bone spurs on my spine which was causing debilitating pain. It was an out-patient proceedure. I only needed pain meds for one week and was able to completely take care of myself in 2 weeks. My life is back to normal now with no back pain. Dr. Pitt is a warm and easy to talk to person and in my opinion, a great surgeon too!
I will no longer be seeing him , everytime i have an office visit he is always running behind , and his office staff is the one that gets stuck with the unhappy patients out in the waiting room . to me personally he seems more about the money than he does about his patients , i over heard him telling his employees that the insurance companies dont pay him enough and that he might drop all insurance and be a cash pay only office , he needs to remember that even in the back with the doors closed us patients can still hear evey... read more
Dr Pitt did a unnecesary disetomy surgery causing epidural fibrosis, the pain is worse now after the surgery.
