I went to Dr. Pitt with high hopes - he's contracted with UHC and performed the minimally invasive surgery - with 3 years of terrible lower back pain, I was excited for the possiblity of resolving my back pain via minor surgery. After waiting for 30 minutes to see the doctor, he greeted me with an uncomfortable skeptisim that I was just another middle aged woman with back pain - well, F U! I have been active my entire life: hiking, weight training, biking, tennis, etc...for 54 yrs old, I'm holding up very well. He took new x... read more

Wow! I have been suffering from scoliosis pain for over 15 years. I had 3 surgeries over 5 years in Seattle in the late 1990's which helped some, but in some ways made the pain worse. Dr. Pitt acknowledged my pain which the doctor in Seattle dismissed. In December Dr. Pitt fixed a non-union and straightened the rest of my middle back. That took care of the pain I had from the very first surgery in Seattle. Then Dr. Pitt said that I wasn't completely straight and needed another surgery to fix this. I had noticed that when I w... read more

I have been dealing with back pain over 20+ years I have been to several doctors/pain management over this same time period. most of them wanted to push pills on me.. Dr Pitt listen to me on what I wanted but he told me surgery is in editable. 14 MO. later Dr Pitt operated on me I had instant relieve upon waking up from surgery & still pain free 1 year later. My only regret is I should have done this earlier. As far as his staff not everyone gets along with others & it is best that they part ways & move on & I feel that Dr P... read more

Dr. Pitt correctly diagnosed the ailment. The surgery was a success. He was able to employ minimally invasive surgery and I was only in the hospital 1 night.

Dr. Pitt is awesome. GREAT patient and bedside manner, and ultra conservative which I like. He KNOWS how to get to the root of the problem, and refers to other's when necessary. He was able to get me into someone for pain relief before I even met him. AWESOME experience, and I have recommended him to MANY, including my Mother. See him for any spine related problem, and you will leave

THANK YOU TO DR. PITT AND HIS STAFF! After having Dr. Pitt perform my microsopic lumbar surgery, the numbness and weakness in my left hip, leg, ankle and toes is gone! Thank goodness my spine doctor, Dr. Jerry Sobel, referred me to Dr. Pitt as I have had this pain for over eight months and the steroid injections I received from another physician only provided temporary relief. If anyone is thinking about rather they should have the surgery or not, I would tell them to definitely JUST DO IT! Both Dr. Pitt and his staff are ve... read more

I have dropped Dr. Pitt as my spine specialist due to his absolutely horrible nurse and office staff and his actual timing on appointments. I have had spinal fusion for scoliosis which was done by a doctor in North Carolina. I have recently moved to AZ and he was one of the only doctors that would see me due to my history, but that's not enough to keep me going there. I have called 4 times in the last 3 weeks trying to get xrays sent to my OB because i have found out im pregnant, and to this day, they still have NOT sent thi... read more
