Great bedside manner for parent and child to put nerves at ease.
Dr Bierma has seemed more and more rushed every time we see him. He used to really take his time with patience and talk to them. Now it just seems like he wants you out quickly. He's nice and everything like that everything is just so rushed.

Dr. Bierma is the best!! I would not take my child to any other doctor!! He is up-to-date on all research and is very patient with answering questions. He is very responsive to my child!
Took my 2yrs old for wellness/milestone visit. Thankful the wait wasn’t long. It was late in the day, so my son was already on edge/cranky, he refused to stand on the scale or get height measured. Dr Bierma showed no interest in getting to know us or how we were doing. Former patients of Dr. Root, who left Duly, so I don’t know if it was a feeling of just having to pick up the patients(?). Dr. Bierma's office allegedly canceled our appointment, even though I never received a message. With my entire family there I was told I could book an appointment for over a month later. Dr. Bierma came out and told me it was my fault I booked the appointment wrong online and there was nothing he could do. No apology was ever given. It was already an emotional appointment as we were there to discuss my son's deficits and this made it horrible!
Complicated. This is my 20 month old son's doctor. My son's mom lives with her husband, their 3 kids, and my son. I brought proof, directly from my son's mom, that her husband beat one of his own children, who is also a patient of this same doctor. Undeniable proof. The doctor said nothing...did nothing. The doctor even treated the abused child for concussion like symptoms. But still...no questions, no reports, no action taken...not even a comment. He is neglecting his oaths and duties as a doctor. Dr. Bierma has always been sincere and great with my kids both of my boys really like him and I highly recommend him.
