Yes I would. Dr. Halsted not only diagnosed my issue but referred me to proper staff member that provided proper treatments to ease the issue.
Dismissive and rude. Suggested my wrist pain could be caused by “the menstrual cycle” even though I have no historic issues with anything remotely related to that. Ran some quick tests and said there was no explanation for pain and that my “story” didn’t make sense. Never made eye contact with me. He also said pain is not an indicator of carpal tunnel, which is what my PCP suggested might be the cause. Saw another doctor who ran the same tests and found that I have carpal tunnel. Glad I got a second opinion.
Would 100% not recommend. If I could give him no stars I would. extremely dismissive and seemed as if I was wasting his time. Horrible.
Very unpleasant experience with this physician. Made no attempt to engage with me. Curt, evasive and sarcastic in his responses to my questions. Never made eye contact with me.
I had a great experience with Dr. Halsted and his staff. I had a ski accident at the beginning of 2020 on a Saturday, I was already after surgery on Tuesday. Dr. Halsted performed elbow surgery on my right arm. He was very nice and caring, the surgery went well, his staff was amazing. I had several follow-up appointments, all of them went smooth and Dr. Halsted explained everything in detail. I would highly recommend Dr. Halsted, he is an exceptional surgeon and great with patients.
I think Dr. Halsted is a very caring, empathetic and very competent hand surgeon. I've had three trigger finger surgeries done by Dr. Halsted. The outcome and experience for all three were excellent. His NP, Heather and his assistant, Alexis were wonderful, very supportive and caring. The office staff were very professional and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Halsted, Heather, Alexis and all of his office staff to anyone seeking orthopedic care.
After having experienced several breaks in my wrist area, I was referred to Dr Halsted by another physician in his practice and was also given his name by several others that he was a fantastic hand surgeon. I had major surgery for a broken elbow which happened while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Halsted and his team took care of me immediately upon my return. The surgery went off with absolutely no problems and I could not have been happier. I would recommend Dr. Halsted very highly and would go to him in the future with no hesitation.
