I had hand surge years ago. Had no trouble. I'm now 68 and am planning on see him again for my trigger finger. I had a great experience with him the first time. I have recommended many times.
I had 4 trigger finger surgeries in 2016. All successful with Dr Halsted. There was no hand-holding (haha) straightforward interaction, which I liked. I need another one and hope to be able to have it done before I go to Florida for the winter! Crossing my fingers! (haha)
Dr. Halsted is all business. He has performed surgery on my hand a few times. Every time I feel that I am in very capable hands (heh). Very straightforward with facts and experiences, which I appreciate.

I love everything about the experience I have had with Dr. Halsted and his staff. They go beyond making sure that you get the best care possible. I had surgery on my left thumb and my results go beyond my expectations. If you need any surgery or treatment I highly recommend.
Like the office, not the doctor. No bedside manner and didn’t listen to anything I said.

I recently had carpal tunnel surgery (left hand) and 2 years ago had the same surgery on my right hand. Dr. Halsted did both surgeries at MGH, Danvers. I find him to be an excellent hand surgeon and I highly recommend him to anyone requiring hand medical care. (He also successfully repaired trigger finger on my left thumb.)
