Had surgery last Tuesday, Nov. 13th. My doctor was Dr. Parrack...professional, warm bedside manner and explained everything so clearly. So comforting. The staff from the moment I walked in until I exited were people who truly love what they do. I will spread the word about this disease and I will spread the word about the Norman Parathyroid Center. How lucky am I. Theresa LaSalle
Best care, most effective at surgical procedures for parathyroid removal. Staff are all awesome from check-in to check-out!
They gave me my life back. My local docs wanted to wait but I was so miserable I couldn’t imagine waiting one day when I knew there was a cure
I have watched Dr. Norman on youtube and also watched a few videos from his patients that came from England for surgery at the Norman Center. His sestamibi scans are so clear and detailed- what a great center. I wish he was in NYC!
we went. great care. highly recommend them
I have spoken to many people who did not have as easy an experience as I did with my recovery. My surgery was July, 9th and you cannot tell I had surgery except for most of my problems are resolved or still improving. My energy level has increased, my leg pain is gone (Not the Knee pain, darn). I had terrible Asthma that developed in 2015 and it has improved actually is gone. I know this is not normally a symptom. I can't tell you how much better I feel. I had 4 adenomas which is not common. I would not recommend any other p... read more
I am three weeks post surgery and feel great. I wish I had done this when I was first diagnosed with parathyroid disease. I tried to have surgery in my area but after being told my symptoms were unrelated I hadn't had kidney stones or severe osteoporosis I should wait. Going to Tampa was the best thing I could have done for my health.
Just had my surgery at Tampa General Hospital on 9/11, thought this ironic since that day lives on in our memories for obvious reasons - Now I have a "good" memory of something that occurred on that date as well. Thank you Dr. Parrack!
I read the entire website and thought they were exaggerating on how great they are, THEY ARE EVERYTHING THEY CLAIM TO BE. My calcium level, was 10.1 and my PTH hormone was borderline high so I wasn't too sure they would find a tumor Dr. Boon did not push me to get surgery she told me I could wait, but also said there had to be a reason I had brittle bones. Well, I was shocked that they found 4 tumors. Other centers might have stopped looking after one tumor and I would not have been cured. Don't go anywhere else for this surg... read more
